Ingredients

100g prosciutto, thinly sliced

100g salami, sliced into rounds

100g aged cheddar cheese, cubed

100g brie cheese, sliced

100g blue cheese, crumbled

200g mixed olives (green and black)

1 cup assorted nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans)

1 medium-sized apple, sliced

1 medium-sized pear, sliced

1 cup grape clusters

1 cup baby carrots

1/2 cup fig jam

1/2 cup honey

Assorted crackers and breadsticks

Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Board: Choose a large wooden or ceramic board as your base. Arrange it attractively, leaving spaces for sauces and garnishes.

Arrange Proteins: Start by grouping the sliced prosciutto and salami. You can fold the prosciutto into beautiful ruffles and layer the salami in concentric circles or fan it out.

Cheese Placement: Next, add your cheeses. Place the aged cheddar cubes in one corner, the sliced brie on another, and sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese around for a contrast of textures and flavors.

Add the Olives and Nuts: Create sections for the mixed olives and assorted nuts. Use small bowls or ramekins to contain olives if desired, as this can help with presentation.

Fruits Galore: Scatter the apple and pear slices, along with the grapes, around the cheese and meats. This will add freshness and color to your board.

Veggie Splash: Place the baby carrots in a small bowl or make a cluster on the board. They add a nice crunch and a pop of color.

Sweet Touches: Drizzle or place small bowls of fig jam and honey on the board. These will pair wonderfully with the cheeses and meats.

Crackers and Breadsticks: Scatter various crackers and breadsticks in the remaining spaces for guests to enjoy with the cheeses and spreads.

Final Touches: Garnish with fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme for a touch of greenery and aroma.

Serve: Invite family and friends to gather around and dig in! Enjoy the variety of flavors and textures while sharing stories and laughter.
