Spicy Tuna Stuffed Avocados

2 ripe avocados

1 can (5 oz) of tuna, drained (preferably packed in water)

2 tablespoons mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a healthier option)

1 tablespoon sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon lime juice (plus more for drizzling)

1 small green onion, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Chili flakes, for garnish (optional)

Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions
 

Prepare the Avocados: Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Scoop out a little bit of the flesh from the center to make extra room for the filling, and set aside.

    Make the Tuna Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, lime juice, green onion, and cilantro. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated. Taste and season with salt and pepper as desired.

      Stuff the Avocados: Carefully spoon the spicy tuna mixture into the hollowed-out centers of the avocado halves. You can mound it slightly for an appealing look.

        Garnish: Drizzle a little extra lime juice over the stuffed avocados, and sprinkle with chili flakes if you like an extra kick.

          Serve: Place the stuffed avocados on a serving platter or individual plates. Serve with lime wedges on the side for an added zest!
