Salt and pepper, to taste

1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces

1 cup goat cheese, softened

1/4 cup honey

Fresh arugula, for garnish

Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare the Pears:

      - Wash the pears and cut them in half. Remove the core and slice them into thin wedges.

        - In a mixing bowl, toss the pear wedges with olive oil, chopped rosemary, salt, and pepper until coated evenly.

          Roast the Pears:

            - Spread the seasoned pear wedges on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer.

              - Roast in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until soft and lightly caramelized, flipping halfway through for even cooking.

                Toast the Baguette:

                  - While the pears are roasting, arrange the baguette slices on another baking sheet.

                    - Drizzle a little olive oil on each slice and sprinkle with salt.

                      - Toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

                        Assemble the Crostini:

                          - Once the pears and baguette slices are out of the oven, spread a generous amount of softened goat cheese on each toasted baguette slice.

                            - Top each with a few roasted pear slices and a drizzle of honey.

                              Garnish and Serve:

                                - Finish with a handful of fresh arugula on top of each crostini and drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
