Ingredients

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon active dry yeast

½ teaspoon sugar

½ teaspoon salt

¾ cup warm water (about 110°F)

1 tablespoon olive oil

½ cup marinara sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup crumbled feta cheese

¼ cup black olives, sliced

1 small red onion, thinly sliced

½ cup roasted red peppers, sliced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Dough: In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes or until frothy.

Mix the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Gradually add the yeast mixture and olive oil, mixing until a sticky dough forms.

Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough onto a floured surface. Knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Form it into a ball.

First Rise: Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Preheat the Oven: About 20 minutes before baking, preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat.

Shape the Pizza: Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer to a pizza peel dusted with flour (or a lightly oiled baking sheet if not using a stone).

Add Toppings: Spread the marinara sauce evenly on the dough, then sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Arrange the feta cheese, black olives, red onion, and roasted red peppers on top. Season with dried oregano and red pepper flakes, if using.

Bake the Pizza: Carefully slide the pizza onto the hot pizza stone or place the baking sheet in the oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.

Garnish & Serve: Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool slightly, and garnish with fresh basil leaves. Slice and serve hot.
