½ cup assorted mini candies (such as M&Ms, gummy bears, or chocolate-covered pretzels)

Prep the Dough: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

    Cream the Butters and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar using an electric mixer until the mixture is light and fluffy (around 3-5 minutes). Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
