1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

In a microwave-safe mug, combine the rolled oats, milk, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), baking powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.

    Stir the mixture thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined and the oats are evenly coated.

      If desired, fold in some chocolate chips or chopped nuts for added texture.

        Microwave the mug on high for 1 minute. Check the cake; if it’s risen and solidified, it’s ready. If it’s still a bit wet, microwave in 15-second intervals until fully cooked.

          Once cooked, remove the mug from the microwave (careful, it will be hot!). Let it cool for a minute.
