Ingredients

2 (15 oz) cans sliced peaches in syrup (or 4 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced)

1 box yellow cake mix (approximately 15.25 oz)

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches (with juices), brown sugar, vanilla extract, and half of the cinnamon. Mix well and pour into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the peach mixture, ensuring complete coverage. Do not stir; this is a dump cake!

Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.

Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon and chopped nuts (if using) on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the peaches are bubbling.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
