Ingredients

1 package (15.25 oz) Oreo cookies, divided

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 cups milk

2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix

12 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

Gummy worms (for decoration)

Small flower pots or a large clear dish

Instructions

Crush Oreos: In a food processor, crush 14 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Set aside. Reserve the remaining cookies for garnish.

Make the Cream Cheese Mixture: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth. Gradually mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until well combined and creamy.

Prepare Pudding: In another bowl, whisk the milk and instant chocolate pudding mix together until combined. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken.

Combine Mixtures: Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until smooth. Then, gently fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until well blended.

Layer the Ingredients: Start layering the dessert in your flower pots or large dish. Begin with a layer of the creamy pudding mixture, followed by a layer of the crushed Oreo crumbs, repeating this process until you run out of ingredients, finishing with a layer of Oreo crumbs.

Garnish: Crush the reserved Oreo cookies and sprinkle them on top as the dirt. Decorate with gummy worms, poking them into the dessert to look like they’re crawling out of the dirt.

Chill: Cover the pots or dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to allow the flavors to meld and the cake to set.

Serve: When ready to serve, take the cake out of the refrigerator. Enjoy by digging into the “dirt” and savoring every delicious bite!
