½ cup granulated sugar

1 tsp salt

¾ cup whole milk, warmed (110°F)

⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

For the Filling:

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar, packed

2 tbsp ground cinnamon

1 ½ cups crushed Oreo cookies

For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

2 cups powdered sugar

¼ cup whole milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

Crushed Oreo cookies for topping

Instructions

Make the Dough:

    - In a mixing bowl, combine the warm milk, active dry yeast, and 1 tbsp of sugar. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes, until it's frothy.

      - In a large bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, and salt. Stir in the melted butter and eggs.

        - Add the yeast mixture to the flour mixture and knead until a smooth dough forms, about 5-7 minutes.

          - Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.

            Prepare the Filling:

              - In a medium bowl, mix together the softened butter, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and crushed Oreo cookies until well combined. Set aside.

                Roll Out the Dough:

                  - Once the dough has risen, punch it down and turn it out onto a lightly floured surface. Roll it out into a rectangle, about 18x12 inches.

                    Assemble the Rolls:

                      - Evenly spread the Oreo filling mixture over the rolled-out dough. Starting from one long side, tightly roll up the dough into a log. Pinch the seam to seal.

                        - Cut the rolled dough into 12 equal pieces and arrange them in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, cut side up.

                          Second Rise:

                            - Cover the rolls with a clean kitchen towel and let them rise again in a warm place for another 30-45 minutes, until they puff up.

                              Bake the Rolls:

                                - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Once the rolls have risen, bake them for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

                                  Make the Cream Cheese Glaze:

                                    - In a bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

                                      Glaze and Serve:

                                        - Once the cinnamon rolls are out of the oven, drizzle the cream cheese glaze over the warm rolls. Sprinkle crushed Oreo cookies on top for an extra crunch and visual flare.

                                          - Allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your decadent treat!
