Ingredients

1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed

2 medium-sized ripe nectarines, sliced

200g Brie cheese, cut into small pieces

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Puff Pastry: Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut it into 4 squares or rectangles, depending on your preference for size.

Layer the Ingredients: On each pastry square, place a few slices of nectarines, followed by a generous portion of Brie cheese. Drizzle a little honey over the cheese and season with salt and pepper.

Fold and Seal: Gently fold the edges of the puff pastry over the filling to create a pocket. Pinch the seams to seal the melts properly. You can create a decorative edge by using a fork to press down on the seams if desired.

Egg Wash: Brush the tops of the puff melts with the beaten egg to ensure a golden-brown finish when baked.

Bake: Place the assembled melts onto the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.

Finishing Touch: Once baked, remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs for an aromatic touch.

Serve: Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your Nectarine Brie Puff Melts warm as an elegant appetizer or snack!
