Ingredients

2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count each)

1 cup pizza sauce

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons melted butter

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Cooking spray

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray.

Prepare the Biscuit Dough: Open the cans of biscuit dough and separate them into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit with your hands or a rolling pin until they are about 4 inches in diameter.

Form the Bases: Place each flattened biscuit in a muffin cup, pressing it gently into the bottom and up the sides to create a small bowl for the sliders.

Add the Sauce: Spoon approximately 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce into each biscuit base, spreading it evenly across the bottom.

Layer the Toppings: Sprinkle a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce, followed by a few slices of pepperoni. Repeat the process by adding another layer of cheese and a few more pepperoni slices, if desired.

Season it Up: Sprinkle the Italian seasoning and garlic powder evenly over the toppings. Add a final sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top for a cheesy crust.

Create the Pizza Tops: Use the remaining biscuit dough to cut out small circles (approximately 2 inches) to cover the pizza top sliders. Place one circle over each filled muffin cup, gently pressing down to adhere.

Brush with Butter: Brush the melted butter over the top of each biscuit slider for a golden finish.

Bake: Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool for about 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if using. Carefully run a knife around the edges to lift each slider out of the muffin tin and serve warm.
