1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

½ cup granulated sugar

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

4 large egg yolks

Zest of 2 key limes

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Topping:

1 cup heavy whipping cream

¼ cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Lime slices and zest, for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Crust:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

      - In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, melted butter, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well blended, and the mixture resembles wet sand.

        - Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form an even crust. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove and let cool.

          Make the Filling:

            - In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
