Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Glaze: In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and lemon juice until smoothly combined. Set aside about 1/4 of the glaze for later use.

Season the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels, and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Marinate the Fillets: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a zip-lock bag. Pour the remaining glaze over the salmon, ensuring they're evenly coated. Allow the fillets to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour for the flavors to meld (longer is better for added flavor!).

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Bake the Salmon: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Remove the salmon from the marinade (discard the used marinade) and place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet skin-side down. Brush the salmon with some of the reserved glaze.

Cook: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked to your desired doneness. Brush with more glaze halfway through cooking for extra flavor.

Broil for a Finish (Optional): For an extra caramelized touch, switch the oven to broil for the last 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.

Serve: Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Drizzle with any remaining glaze, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges for squeezing on top.
