Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, combine softened butter, honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Whisk the mixture until thoroughly blended.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the honey butter marinade over them, ensuring each fillet is well coated. Cover with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for a deeper flavor.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare for Baking: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease with cooking spray. Place the marinated salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Glaze the Salmon: Drizzle a little extra honey butter marinade over the salmon fillets for extra flavor. Reserve some marinade for basting halfway through cooking.

Bake the Salmon: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. About halfway through cooking, baste the salmon with the reserved marinade.

Broil for Finishing Touch: For a beautifully caramelized glaze, switch to the broiler setting and broil the salmon for an additional 2-3 minutes. Keep an eye on it to avoid burning.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven, garnish with chopped fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges on the side for a refreshing squeeze.
