Ingredients

2 cans (5 oz each) tuna packed in water, drained

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup diced green chilies (canned or fresh)

1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper, to taste

12 small slider buns

1/4 cup butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Tuna Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, diced green chilies, shredded cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly incorporated.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Assemble the Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half horizontally. On the bottom half of each bun, generously spoon the tuna mixture, spreading it evenly across. Place the top half of the bun on each and press gently to hold everything together.

Brush with Butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and paprika. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the assembled sliders.

Bake in the Oven: Place the sliders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the buns are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Garnish and Serve: Let the sliders cool for a couple of minutes after removing them from the oven. Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley for a pop of color and extra flavor. Serve warm, and enjoy your delicious Spicy Green Chili Tuna Melt Sliders!
