1 lb (450g) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred for extra crunch)

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for a kick)

Vegetable oil, for frying

For the Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce:

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup honey

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste

Prep the Chicken: In a large bowl, season the chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.

    Set Up Breading Station: In three separate shallow dishes, place the flour in the first, whisk the eggs in the second, and place the breadcrumbs in the third.

      Bread the Nuggets: Take a piece of seasoned chicken and dredge it in the flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the beaten eggs, letting any excess drip off. Finally, coat it thoroughly with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere. Repeat this process for all chicken pieces.

        Heat the Oil: In a large frying pan or deep fryer, heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil over medium-high heat (approximately 350°F or 175°C) until hot.
