Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wingettes

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Optional: additional Parmesan for garnish

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet to allow air circulation.

Prepare Wings: In a large bowl, mix the chicken wingettes with baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.

Arrange Wings: Spread the wings in a single layer on the wire rack, making sure they are not touching to promote even cooking.

Bake Wings: Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.

Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce: While the wings are baking, prepare the garlic Parmesan sauce by combining melted butter, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, and lemon juice in a medium bowl. Mix until well combined.

Coat the Wings: Once the wings are finished baking, remove them from the oven and immediately toss them in the garlic Parmesan sauce until they are thoroughly coated.

Serve: Transfer the wings to a serving platter, and if desired, sprinkle with additional grated Parmesan and chopped parsley for garnish. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or blue cheese.
