Ingredients

3 ripe bananas, mashed

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1/2 cup pure maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Pinch of salt

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated and smooth.

If desired, fold in the chopped walnuts and mini chocolate chips to add extra texture and flavor.

Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later. Pour the yogurt mixture into the dish and spread it out evenly with a spatula.

Cover the dish with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the freezer. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until solid.

Once frozen, remove the bars from the dish by lifting the parchment paper. Cut into squares or rectangles using a sharp knife. If the mixture is too hard, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly for easier slicing.

Serve immediately or store the cut bars in an airtight container in the freezer. Enjoy your homemade frozen yogurt bars as a guilt-free treat!
