Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1 cup unsweetened applesauce

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 small apple, finely diced (any variety you prefer, such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)

A pinch of sea salt

Optional toppings: crushed nuts (such as walnuts or pecans), chocolate chips, or additional caramel drizzle

Instructions

Prepare the Yogurt Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, applesauce, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed and smooth.

Add Apple: Gently fold in the diced apple and a pinch of sea salt into the yogurt mixture for added flavor.

Fill the Molds: Using a spoon or a piping bag, fill silicone ice cube trays or mini muffin tins with the yogurt mixture, filling each compartment about three-quarters full.

Drizzle with Caramel: Carefully drizzle caramel sauce over the top of each yogurt bite, using a toothpick or the tip of a spoon to swirl it in slightly for a marbled effect.

Freeze: Place the trays in the freezer and allow the yogurt bites to freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.

Remove and Serve: Once frozen, remove the yogurt bites from the molds. If they are stuck, run warm water over the back of the tray to help loosen them.

Add Toppings (Optional): If desired, sprinkle with crushed nuts or chocolate chips, and drizzle a little more caramel sauce just before serving.

Store: Place any leftovers in an airtight container and store them in the freezer for a refreshing snack anytime!
