Ingredients

2 ripe bananas, sliced

1 cup plain Greek yogurt (you can use vanilla-flavored for extra sweetness)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust based on your sweetness preference)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup granola or crushed nuts (for added crunch)

Optional toppings: melted dark chocolate, shredded coconut, mini chocolate chips

Instructions

Prep the Bananas: Start by peeling the ripe bananas and slicing them into approximately 1/2-inch thick rounds. Place the banana slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet or platter for easy transfer later.

Make the Yogurt Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed and creamy. Taste the yogurt mixture and adjust the sweetness if necessary.

Coat the Bananas: Dip each banana slice into the yogurt mixture using two forks or your fingers, ensuring that each piece is fully coated. Allow any excess yogurt to drip off before placing them back on the lined baking sheet.

Top and Decorate: Sprinkle your chosen toppings (granola, crushed nuts, chocolate drizzle, shredded coconut, or mini chocolate chips) over half of the coated banana slices for added texture and flavor.

Freeze Until Set: Once all banana slices are coated and decorated, place the baking sheet in the freezer and allow the bites to freeze for at least 2-3 hours or until firm.

Serve and Enjoy: After the yogurt bites are completely frozen, remove them from the freezer. Let them sit for a minute to soften slightly for easier eating. Enjoy your refreshing and healthy frozen banana yogurt bites immediately or store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one week.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 3 hours (includes freezing) | Servings: Approximately 12-15 bites
