Ingredients

3 ripe bananas

1 cup dark chocolate chips

1 tablespoon coconut oil

1/2 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)

1/2 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or peanuts)

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional, for garnish)

6 wooden popsicle sticks

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Start by peeling the bananas and cutting them in half crosswise. Insert a wooden popsicle stick into the cut end of each banana half, ensuring it's secure.

Freeze the Bananas: Place the banana pops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze them for about 1-2 hours, or until fully frozen.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted.

Coat the Bananas: Remove the frozen banana pops from the freezer. Dip each pop into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.

Add Toppings: Quickly roll the chocolate-coated banana pops into the shredded coconut or chopped nuts before the chocolate sets. For extra indulgence, sprinkle some mini chocolate chips on top.

Final Freeze: Place the coated pops back on the parchment-lined baking sheet and return them to the freezer for an additional 1 hour, allowing the chocolate to harden completely.

Serve: Once fully set, remove from the freezer, and enjoy your delightful Choco-Banana Bliss Pops! They can be enjoyed immediately or stored in an airtight container in the freezer for later.
