Ingredients

12 small slider buns

6 large eggs

6 slices of cooked bacon, chopped

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon milk

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped (optional, for garnish)

1 tablespoon butter (for toasting buns)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Slider Buns: Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

Cook the Eggs: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined. In a non-stick skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and cook, occasionally stirring, until the eggs are fully set and scrambled, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and fold in the chopped bacon.

Assemble the Sliders: Evenly distribute the scrambled eggs and bacon mixture over the bottom halves of the slider buns. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the filling. Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese.

Butter and Toast: Melt the butter and brush it over the tops of the assembled sliders. Optionally, sprinkle some additional salt and pepper on top.

Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.

Serve: Remove from the oven, garnish with chives if desired, and serve warm.
