Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

1/4 cup teriyaki sauce

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon soy sauce (low sodium recommended)

1 teaspoon sesame oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ginger, grated

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Salmon: In a medium bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper. Place the salmon fillets in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.

Prepare for Air Frying: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Remove the salmon from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off (but don’t rinse it).

Coat the Salmon: In a shallow dish, combine panko breadcrumbs and sesame seeds (if using). Press the top of each salmon fillet into the breadcrumb mixture to coat evenly.

Air Fry the Salmon: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil to prevent sticking. Place the coated salmon fillets in the basket, skin-side down, making sure they are not overcrowded. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F or 63°C) and the exterior is crispy.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer. Garnish with chopped green onions and drizzle with any remaining teriyaki sauce if desired. Serve with rice and steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
