2 ripe bananas, mashed

1 cup rolled oats

½ cup almond butter (or any nut butter of your choice)

⅓ cup honey or maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup dark chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)

¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

½ tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

⅓ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

    Mix the Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well combined.

      Combine the Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the rolled oats, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
