2 lbs chicken wings

1/4 cup fresh lime juice

Zest of 2 limes

3 tbsp honey

2 tbsp chili powder

1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for heat preference)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp ground cumin

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh cilantro, chopped, for garnish

Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions
 

Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, combine fresh lime juice, lime zest, honey, chili powder, cayenne pepper, minced garlic, smoked paprika, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well combined.

    Marinate the Wings: Place the chicken wings in a large resealable plastic bag or a mixing bowl. Pour the marinade over the wings and toss to coat evenly. Seal the bag or cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (up to overnight for better flavor).

      Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup and place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet.

        Arrange the Wings: Remove the wings from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Drizzle olive oil over the wings for extra crispness.
