1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional for garnish)

Apple slices for decoration (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper for easy removal.

    Prepare the Blondie Layer:

      - In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Whisk together until smooth.

        - Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.

          - In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

            - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chopped apples.

              - Spread the blondie batter evenly in the bottom of the prepared springform pan.

                Make the Cheesecake Layer:

                  - In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

                    - Gradually add the granulated sugar, mixing until well combined.

                      - Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the vanilla and sour cream until smooth.

                        Layer the Cheesecake:

                          - Pour the cheesecake mixture over the blondie layer carefully, smoothing the top with a spatula.

                            Bake:

                              - Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Once out of the oven, let it cool down to room temperature.

                                Chill:

                                  - After cooling, cover the cheesecake and transfer it to the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

                                    Add Caramel Topping:

                                      - Once chilled, drizzle the caramel sauce generously over the top of the cheesecake.

                                        - Sprinkle chopped pecans if using, and adorn with apple slices to make it visually appealing.

                                          Serve:

                                            - Remove the sides of the springform pan. Slice the cheesecake with a hot knife for clean cuts and serve chilled.
