BBQ Chicken Wraps

2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup coleslaw mix (or finely shredded cabbage and carrots)

1/2 cup diced red onion

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

4 large flour tortillas or wraps

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Additional BBQ sauce for drizzling (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken:

    In a medium bowl, mix the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until evenly coated. Set aside to allow the flavors to meld.

      Sauté the Vegetables:

        In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, toss in the diced red onion. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until soft and translucent. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

          Mix the Slaw:

            In a separate bowl, combine the coleslaw mix with a few tablespoons of BBQ sauce. Mix well (adjust to taste) and set aside.

              Assemble the Wraps:

                Lay out the tortillas on a clean surface. In the center of each tortilla, layer about 1/2 cup of the BBQ chicken mixture, followed by a generous scoop of the coleslaw mix, and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.

                  Wrap It Up:

                    Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll the bottom up over the filling, rolling tightly to secure everything inside. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.

                      Grill or Toast:
