Banana Bread Cinnamon Rolls

2 ripe bananas, mashed

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup milk (any kind)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast (1 packet)

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

For the Cinnamon Sugar Filling:

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tablespoon milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Prepare the Dough:

    - In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth.

      - In another bowl, whisk together the flour, instant yeast, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

        - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.

          Knead the Dough:

            - On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic. Place it in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

              Prepare the Filling:

                - In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped nuts (if using). Mix until well combined.

                  Roll Out the Dough:

                    - Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

                      - Spread the cinnamon filling evenly across the dough, leaving about a 1-inch border along the edges.

                        Form the Rolls:
