2 ripe bananas, mashed

1/3 cup melted butter

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1-2 tablespoons milk (for icing)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare an 8x8 inch baking dish by greasing it lightly with butter or non-stick spray.

    Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter, blending them well. Then, add the brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until all ingredients are smoothly incorporated.

      Add Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the baking soda, salt, and flour. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Avoid over-mixing.
